NLMK Group is one of the world leaders in the metallurgical industry, with production assets in Russia, Europe, and the USA. One of the company's missions is to promote and develop a circular economy, aligning with the 12 UN Sustainable Development Goals. The market for secondary raw materials was informal and exclusively offline, making the interaction process non-transparent and environmentally harmful
Solution
Create the first marketplace for secondary raw materials for large companies. Transform the complex offline B2B interaction chain into a simple and familiar online transaction format

User Flow: from Offline to Online

As the lead designer of the project, I based my approach on field research and multi-step business requirement gathering:
→We visited secondary raw material collection sites and observed the process firsthand, then visualized the data in diagrams
→Conducted interviews with business representatives and identified key pain points, such as non-transparent pricing and the lack of supplier and buyer verification

About
The platform's functionality includes a supplier dashboard and a buyer dashboard, each with distinct catalogs and capabilities
Wizard
We started with designing the offer creation wizard as the initial entity, whose attributes would later be applied across all sections. Special attention was given to pricing formation, and we developed a unique widget with tips
Catalog
Designed the catalog in a meta-card format featuring offers from various suppliers on one page, with the ability to quickly view offers in pop-up format
Requests
Implemented a section in table format where both incoming and outgoing requests are stored. With detailed status updates, users can quickly see the current stage of discussions
Dashboard
On the homepage, we included a dashboard with analytics on applications, deals, and sales
